I wanted to tell the affiliates reading this blog about an opportunity for a spectacular competition with a CPC element to it.
Shoestring Travel is running a competition in conjunction with MTV to 5 MTV Style awards round the globe in 2008. It is a truly awesome ‘money can’t buy’ prize for anyone involved in competitions, Travel or Music, taking the winners to Australia, Russia, Singapore, Latina America and India.
Shoestring are laying on flights, accommodation, pocket money and a city guide for the 5 trips.
The competition is at mtvsoundtrip.co.uk but there’s also a Skyscraper on Shoestring.co.uk so you can use a link to them to drop a Shoestring cookie and earn a CPC payment. The cookie is 90 days so plenty of opportunity to rake in the commissions as we move into peak booking season for Travel sales.
There is no lead payment for the competition entries as MTV are the promoter, but the Shoestring.co.uk campaign offers a hybrid model with a CPC payout and 3.5% commission.
