Big thanks to James Little for resurrecting the No Ping Wait Plugin after the original developer’s site went pear shaped.

“Pinging” is the act of telling various online services about your new blog posts, with over 60 of these services on my list at the moment it makes new posts vvveeeryyyy ssllloooowwww. The plugin speeds this up a lot. Nice little tool.
