This turned up in my inbox today and shows a great example of how Outlook 2007 has taken a step backwards in the ability to match browser standards in email.
The lovely little e-voucher image that worked fine in 2003 now doesn’t appear at all. I somewhat resent the fact that I’ve had to get a copy of Outlook 2007 to make sure that our own email designs still work.
There are workarounds for the problem below which my email designer at Shine Marketing has sorted for our own clients, but I wish Microsoft would let designers get on with designing rather than buggering about with fixes for their software all the time.
