The affiliate programme for Shoestring.co.uk is now live on the TradeTracker UK network, and we’ve managed to secure some extra budget that I hope will excite many affiliates by offering them a CPC payment on top of the regular percentage of sale.We’re hoping that this will encourage affiliates in the UK to try out what is already a very successful program in the Netherlands. Those affiliates whose traffic converts into sales above a certain threshold (starting at 0.25%, so not too ambitious) will get awarded with a higher CPC as well as also getting paid for newsletter and brochure requests.This hybrid model has worked very well for Tradetracker’s publishers in mainland Europe and we hope it will be as well received with the new countries.
The UK launch of Shoestring on Tradetracker is the first of a number of travel clients expected this year, in addition, TradeTracker is also rolling out to other major European markets, so anyone publishing multi-lingual or multi-country sites will do well to have a look.
