Thank You’s for the Webgains Golf Day

A big thanks to Webgains for organising the affiliate golf day that went on yesterday.

I’ve never done a ‘corporate’ golf day before and have always considered them to be a bit of a jolly. However, I picked up some good tips about new niches from Derek, one of the Webgains account managers, and traded a few choice SEO tips with Jonathan of Funware who was also on my team.

A big thanks to all the team at Webgains, particularly Shelly who did most of the organising, and also to Julie Hegarty who did a top job in the buggy keeping the refreshments coming while we played.

Hero, I think you need to push for a female-friendly event. Lots of comments about how hard you’ve been working from affs and network alike.

female friendly event.. yes, we were talking about this at Miami. It’s very difficult to stay clear from something that’s trivial, condescending and patronising really!
not to mention that I don’t really like it when events are targetting specific genders, they should be open to eveyone!

right, spa days anyone?
